2 tracks on my 80-8 are not playing back in 'norm' mode. Fine when recording and fine playing back in 'monitor' mode. I've taken the audio cards out and cleaned them, they seem fine. What else could I try?

hello 2 tracks on my 80-8 are not working in norm mode. how do i remove the bottom panel to get at the audio cards? Looks frightening under there, lots of screws! Also the tracks I record are not erasing now (multitrack using one track!) but the erase head looks fine. Grateful for any advice!

I have a soundcraft spirit studio and on one channel I can't see anything registering on the light meter. I can see something is going in as the peak light lights up and I can hear there is something when I solo the channel but I have no signal to send to my tape recorder. Any ideas please?

I don't I don't now. It was because I thought I had to take the whole front panel of the machine off and the pitch control was stopping me from pulling it off. But as Ghost has kindly informed me, I just have to take the feet off and unscrew the bottom panel to be able to get to the audio...

How do I remove the pitch control from the front of my tascam 38? I have removed everything else but this is giving me trouble. I can see there is place for a tiny screwdriver on the control but none of my tiny screwdrivers fit! The reason for taking the front off is to get to the audio cards...

more sync etc. so it seems that one cannot 'drop' in' whilst hearing the track one is dropping in to? And how do I get in to the audio cards? I tried last night to loosen the 4 screws on the bottom panel but to no avail....???!! So far the advice has been very helpful, keep it coming PLEAZSE>.

syncing still not good thanks ghost and reel! The warm up did the trick for channel one but there's still a delay when switching fro rep til sync...
