Its a BASF 526 1" Thet are BASF 526 1" (Emtec?) Hope they're all right or I've suddenly got a panic situation on the way! Where can I buy 1 inch tape that ships to Europe then? Would Thomann in Germany be the best bet.

I'm sure if I lived in another part of the world, I could easily sell my beautiful soundcraft 24 track 1" tape recorder as is BUT I live in digital Denmark! It stopped working, I'm shure its an electrical fault as it looks like almost new inside and I just don't have the wear with all or skills...

My old soundcraft 760 24 track machine has stopped working! Powers up but nothing else? Weird thing is the capstan is spinning around fast and endlessly?! Could it be something electronic? I love my machine PLEASE help! I live in Denmark and they are ALL digital heads, so NO engineers in site!!

I just got hold of a new 1 inch tape on the 'pancake' as they call it! Silly question but do I mount the pancake on the right or left reel to wind it up? Surely it's the right reel so the tape ends up wound on to the left reel?!!!

I just scored a very cheap A77 and the only thing wrong is the counter doesn't work. I just ordered the rubber belt from Ebay and I have the service manual but I can't see anything about how to get into the machine to put it on. Is it from the front or back of the machine? Is it an easy...

Today I changed 2 fuses, which I assume are for the reel motors. Bingo! The B77 is back! Now I have to sort out the dead VU meter and a way to squash the light holders down in to the 'too small' holes!
