Cool - I get plugins from both those sites and haven't seen a spectrum analyzer, but I'll go take another look. :)

Yep - it's one of my pet hates as a guitarist. I've known people who think it looks cool to have the strings hanging from the headstock. IMO it's dangerous and looks pretty stupid.

I record via Cubase SL3 and as far as I can see, it doesn't have a spectrum analyzer. I just want something that will display the frequencies for both individual tracks and even more so an overall mix. Does anybody know of any good free ones I can download? What do you guys use? :)

Whenever I've recorded in the past, after doing every individual track I have usually put some effects onto them - mostly reverb on vocals/guitars. Do you guys think it is BETTER to just leave out ALL sending/inserting effects until after all the parts are recorded? I know there may be a bunch...

Yeah, I think you're probably right but at the very least I think I might use it to record ideas after my son(he's 2) has gone to bed etc. Usually I totally stop any recording after 8pm.
