    like i said earlier..i love my 1980 fg-335...got when i was 12 and i'll never part with it..don't know if qualifies as "old" or not...don't care...i wouldn't trade it for any guitar in the world..not this one. the player makes the difference anyway... a damn $25,000 guitar played my me aint...

    I gotta fg335 from about 1980...it was my first guitar. I dunno if it qualifies as an "old" yamaha or not..it's old to me lol...it is all laminate BTW. tough as a brick...with some bright strings this thing sings...very even tone across all the strings I love the way my yamaha sounds and plays...

    I wonder why that is? I'm using win98se and winxp pro (on 2 machines...one at home and one at my bands practice space..bad me i know lol)...and on win98se this last build seems to work the best..but I usually never go over 10-12 tracks or so..most of the time it's 4-6..

    I believe I have it at home. I usually save each DL into a sub folder because the filenames are always the same... any idea of the date of 3.0? I'll look for you today at lunch (EST) and post back. peace, Chris

    my drummer is looking into buying a set of these...suppossedly they make awesome hardware and are a well-kept secret. opinions? experiences? He's not on a computer much so I told him I would check in here..he's wanting a studio set..he has a pearl export kit now that serves our gigs well...
