Hi all,
I am thinking about upgrading from my 4-track to a new digital multitrack (maybe the new Korg D12 when it comes out). I don't have any other equipment besides my instruments and a condensor mic. I was wondering if I will need to buy anything else besides the recorder to make it...
What do you guys think of the Korg D12? I'm looking into getting a digital multi-track and this one looks pretty sweet. Any comments on its capabilities, etc.?
recommendations?
Thanks for the help!
Do you have any recommendations for soundcards?
Also, any recommendations for good external CD-R's? (I have a laptop)
I know this question doesn't fit this message board, but maybe you guys could answer this one anyway?...

4-track to CD
So if MD is not as good as CD, could you tell me how to mix down from my Porta 02 onto CD? I was talking to a sales rep. in a computer store and he said I would need to make a .wav file of the song, and then burn the .wav file onto CD. To me, this seems like it would take away...

Also, could you address my problem about volume level? Is the only way...

Hi,
I recently bought a Rode NT3 (a condensor mic) for my 4-track. I'd like your advice on exactly how to position the mic while recording my accoustic (where on the guitar to aim it, what angle, and what distance, etc.) I know this is partially the user's preference, but your advice would be...
Hi,
I have a 4-track and am not satisfied with my current cheap mic I am using. I am mainly recording accoustic guitar and vocals. I need to find a mic that will record both and that's in a price range of about $200. I'm not really sure if a dynamic mic and condensor mic would be better for...
