Thanks for the help. I deided to bite the bullet, and ditched cool edit for a copy of CakeWalk, as this seems the next logical step for multi-tracking software. I know the behringer is more compatible with this as well, so once i have the money i'll get one, as there's nothing that can match it...

Shure SM57 is just sooooo solid, especially for live work in micing up cabs. A total pure workhorse.

Cool, sounds promising. So it does work in AA, i'll have to take a gamble as i only own CEP 2.0, and i don't know whether there's much difference. If it doesn't work i guess i could probably look at dipping into my shallow pockets for an upgrade!
