I have a DVC. It's my main pre for acoustic guitars and vocals. Also have ADK AP-1, modded PM-1000 racked strips, digimax 96, DMP3, Rane ms1b, EH 12ay7.
The Langevin sounds so much better than anything else I have for acoustics...get it!
My unit for sale on ebay. It's new and in perfect shape.

I personally would just keep the 2x4 panels in-tact,cover them and stradle them across the corners. You could then go floor almost to ceiling with 2 panels stacked on top of each other (8ft high). You would use 8 panels for the 4 corners and then you could hang the other 4 panels on the walls...
Great mixer! I bought one just like it about 6 months ago. I totally re-capped mine and did some op-amp upgrades in the first 8 channels. I'd recommend the re-capping but the op-amp upgrade didn't make much of a difference. My board is very quiet and neutral sounding. Wish I could help you with...
I'd personally mix it up with some of the great suggestions so far. Maybe 2 sytek's , one with burr browns, one withoout. And the 8-channel true systems sounds great too! Give yourself a bit of a variety somehow instead of 16 channels of the same thing. Even eight channels of seventh circle...
I'm selling my Multiface II PCI set-up. I just bought a fireface and have a Lucid 8 channel on the way so I need to sell the Multiface. I'm the second owner. I've been using it for about a year and not once have had any problems with it. Comes in original box with the pci card and cable. No...
There's probably 10,000 different directions you can go. I suggest you start reading, learning and start out buying one thing at a time and buy things you will keep for awhile and you can add onto to build your hobby.
Two more mics for me, even though I really wasn't looking for any. Most of the reviews are pretty decent on these , so what the heck. I'm surprised the aren't sold out yet.
It's really a no-brainer if you ask me. If you want reliability, stability, and great converters go with RME. As far as the pres go , I'd say they are both comparable mid class pres. RME is just a rock solid system and that would be my choice. I'm sure there's plenty of happy Onyx users out...
I use Samp 9.1. Couldn't be happier with it! Before that I tried Cubase and a few other trial versions of different apps. Samplitude has been awesome to use. Great for tracking and awesome for editing.
Mine's a 75 or 76 Deluxe that I bought used around 1980 for $350. Tuners were already changed to Grovers and pickups routed out to Dimarzio's . Since then it now has Schallers and EMG's which I don't really care for. Should probably try to get it back to stock sooner or later. Either way, I...
Yeah, I'd pass on that 308 too. Seems a bit overpriced for only 8 channels and not in great condition. I just bought a 320B a few months ago that is in very nice condition and looks like it was well taken care of. Paid $650 for it which I think is a bit much also but because of the condition I...
