Doesn't sound right - the wavs are 44.1. Is your software is set to 48KHz? Go check it out. Take a listen to one of the other mixes to see where the key of the song is.

Hey Man. I think the BG vox part you're speaking of was there, just really low in the mix. I brought all these files into a folder and then converted them to wavs. I brought the wavs into Samplitude Master and brought all the slammed mixes down to an average level of the other mixes. Oh...

Yes, I hear the compression on the lead vocal and it sounds too current. I think you could fool around with some different reverb sounds. Perhaps using an actual room, speaker, and mic. Still, sounds cool. :)

No waste, IMO I knew where you were at with the whole thing from reading the thread. Did you listen to any of the other mixes? Ask yourself; where do YOU think you should end up. :) It is critical to develop good perception. Just my opinion.
