    Drummers in general

My old drummer got pissed off at us once because we didn't appreciate his punctuality and his time invested in setting up so he said he had to leave early after a gig and asked us to break down his kit. We took him to heart and stripped his gear down to the manufacturing line stage. His high-hat...

    Alice in Chains vocal doubling....

I'm a real old fart and I bought face-lift by purely throwing a dart at the CD wall in 1990. I had no idea who they were but they were not a "glam band" as the record label originally intended. As great as Jerry is he still has too clean of a vocal. The growl and whine is gone and will be...

    Marantz PMD740

I own a Marantz PMD740 4-track recorder and it is probably 8 years old. I cannot find any support for this product anywhere. I'm assuming it manufaturing was discontinued the day after I bought it. I'm not sure where to post this but I'm wondering if anybody has any recent info on this product...

    Drummers in general

Not looking for a fight but I've worked with many drummers in bands and for some reason they tend to be the most anal, as well as most organized members in a band. I can understand when as a guitar player I only have to plug it in as opposed to the drummer who has 50 some components to bring and...

    Fx

Why is it that whenever I add effects to audio files and save a certain pre-set, close the program, open the file again I've lost all my saved pre-set effects. Is this operator error or program limitations. Thanks in advance for your input.

    tuning

It's funny how a six pack a Leinie's resolves all these tuning issues. Although the "Bob Marley" tends to have the opposite effect.

    Sheraton II

I've owned my Sheraton for 16 years and I bought for about $250.00 brand new. It is a natural blonde (hee hee) and it has Mother of pearl inlays and gold tone hardware. The workmanship is beyond what you would expect for $250.00 or $1,000.00 for that matter. This gutiar has been through 8 years...

    Sheraton II

I own a Sheraton II Epiphone. The head stock reads "Epiphone by Gibson". I've noticed that other Sheraton II's I've found only say "Epiphone". Any significance to this or can I still let the kid's knock it to the floor every now and then?

    tuning

Anybody have troubles with keeping "G" in tune. I've found that having it just a little flat to the rest of the tuning sounds correct. It's annoying most of the time. Maybe it's just the strings I use.

Evildick, I was going to post naked women but for fear that someone with the answer to my question may be a non- lesbian woman which whom may take offense to free beer with naked women as opposed to free beer and naked men in which case I can live without tempo ratio 3. But back to your...
