Thanks. I did try that originally but it's still not really what I want. If I do it that way I still have to have huge audio files sitting somewhere, I really want to be able to have several smaller projects with smaller audio files in them rather than several projects referencing the same big...
Hey guys,
I recently recorded a 2 hour long multi-track session (5 separate tracks) of our band jamming. Now I want to cut this big clip into several smaller clips which I want to put in new projects.
I thought it would be as simple as selecting the regions I want to copy and pasting them into...
Yeah it's basically a trade off situation. I think you want a little sympathetic buzz from the snares as without it the kit just sounds a bit strange. With that said however if there is ever an extended tom part with no snare I tend to turn the snares off.
I use Windows XP SP2 with a Digi001 and Cubase SX3.
I didn't want protools so I didn't install that (and you shouldn't install that unless you're going to use it) but I installed the ASIO drivers off the website.
Now this works fine in Cubase, but I got greedy and wanted audio playback from...
That's quite bizarre. Theres obviously no compatability issues seeing as how it's just a voltage running through your interface. There's no identifier or anything.
Hey guys,
I've been using Cubase SX 3 (I think theres a new version out?) for a while now and I'm comfortable using it.
Something that has always irked me however is I can't for the life of me figure out how to loop a part when playing it. I've read the manual but I just can't work it out...
With re:midi and drum programming; read the reason manual.
You can definitely make some good stuff just using reason and the manual will instruct you how to use it all.
Well considering that I'll be paying about $400 more for anything comparable to those MSH-1s I think I'll go for them.
Be damned if I can hear a $400 worthy increase in quality.
Good prices on that website actually. I emailed Warren. I can get the Beta52 there for about $250 or so whereas here it's way more. Unbelievable. The oktavas are about $500 too which is good.
Was that only 2 MSH-1s? I was quite impressed by that drum sound. I'm seriously considering them now...
Listened to the samples, they sound quite good on acoustic guitar but not so great for drums (from the samples anyway).
Why are they so cheap? They seem like a steal.
My budget is around $500 or so Australian dollars. It works out to be 400 or so USD but gear over here tends to be alot more expensive (even after conversion) anyway.
I'm just downloading a few samples from that site.
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a pair of condensors that would find themselves equally at home on a kit as well as acoustic guitar.
Something available in Australia would be lovely too, so I'm restricted to shures/rode etc etc.
I had a search around but the search tool doesn't seem to like...
Definitely possible. I assume when you say the bass sound from your keyboard you're talking about a bass preset on the keyboard, such that when you play the keys the sound is put out through the speakers/line out.
Basically all you have to do is:
-Record from the line out on your keyboard to...
There is absolutely no way defragging can harm your audio files. It can't screw up your licensing either.
There is always so much bullshit about how computers work around here, it's insane!
