Purple's nice... A really good dark color combination is a dark blue with beige stripes or swirls. That way the room isn't pitch black, and when there's a lamp on, the room as a little more depth to it than just one solid color.

Umm... I know how to multitrack, but we just wanted to do it live... live recordings sound more like a band playing.... I was just wondering if there's anyway to EQ out things like amp buzzing and such. I tried all the various Cool Edit Pro noise reductions and such, but couldn't get anything...

Is it not something that could even be fixed with EQ?

Yeah, I'm pretty much leaning towards the Ramsa. I've heard great things about Ramsa boards from several people, plus the head engineer at the studio where I intern says he used to use a Ramsa and loved it.

I've pretty much settled down on these 2 options. There's a Ramsa WR8112 for $259 plus shipping in "excellent, like-new" condition. It is about 10 years old. Also, there's a Mackie 1604 for $300 plus shipping that's about 5 years old, also in "excellent, like-new" condition. I'm having trouble...
