The whole mix sounds very 2D and confined. The guitars need to be revamped, and the snare sounds just a bit too thin along with sticking out just a bit too much.

Yea I've messed with the truths a little and they seemed more at home in a hifi minisystem than a mixing environment. The wharfes are much more true to the sound, but the low end from the woofers is lacking in definition. Still the best in the price range, IMO.

The Wharfe's have much better clarity and soundscape imaging than the Berry's. However, the low end tends to be loose and 'woolly,' lacking definition and punch. The mids and highs are sweet though. Probably the best mids in the price bracket.

The firepod's a good way to go at a good price. I am trying to save up for an RME fireface tho, just because it seems to be of higher quality.... but its $1000 more expensive than the firepod, so I'll be saving for a long time!

Just finished listening to it, comparing it to the 1st mix. I am hearing some weird things at 32 seconds into the song. the snare hit is pronounced for one hit, then it disappears for a long time. If you are compressing the entire mix or just the snare track itself, make sure that you are not...
