are you going into the mic in on your comp or the direct in? the mic in is mono. the direct in is stereo but if you have had things hanging from the direct in, then it could be out of whack and you may only get a one sided signal. if thats not it. then go get 2 xlr to rca cables and then a 2...

basically the thinking is that the soundcraft m series and the allen and heath mixwizard are the best boards you can get under $1k. the pres are the same ones found in the soundcraft ghost boards that are in bigger studios. 4 pres and 4 stereo channels for $479 isnt a steal from my bank...
