I made a thread here not too long ago and noone ever responded with feedback. Anyways, since then my band has recorded another song called "Heartbeats" and any feedback about the recording/tips to make it sound better would be awesome.

My band and I tried to record our demo in my basement. We used some drum mics, a macbook, and a couple different guitar amps. Anyways, I am just wondering if anyone had any feedback about how to make the sound better, or on the songs themselves.

we only have...
Acoustic/pop punk Recording..
My friend and I recently started a band. Although we are going for a "heavier" sound, we recorded 3 acoustic demos, and one "pop-punk" song. We'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I just recorded a new song with my band. Its the first one on the page. Anything else i could do to make it sound better?
Thanks
Thats pretty much what we did. Except one mic for drums, one mic for vocals, and a guitar and bass just fed into the soundboard. It would have been done better, but i have no money for anything else.
Hey
I know i have posted one of her songs before, but we recorded another one called "I Love You." Its just an acoustic song. Anyone have suggestions to make it better?

Ok. My girlfriend is going to make a cd for an friend, and im recording it. its just a home recording, nothing spectacular, well she is but the recording isnt. But what format should i burn the cd. .mp3, .wav, or what. Im recording in Audacity, i dont know if that makes a difference
umm.. the answers are...
1. I dont know, but heres a link to it. http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspn_1150?c=ca&cs=CAPS1&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=specstab#tabtop
2. I only need like 3 or 4 channels at once, but i could do with 1 if i had to. I could use more too...
Yea. Thats my first recording. I only have one mic, so i have to record the drums with one mic, so maybe thats a problem. So if i added delay or reverb to the vocals, what would that do? I really like her voice, so i dont want to distort it too much. Did you guys like her voice?
I want to record stuff on my laptop, but it doesnt have a good soundcard or anything. Anyone have any ideas of how to make it more recording ready? Thanks
Jason
Alright. I made this recording in my room with my laptop and my soundboard, hopefully it sounds ok. Its my girlfriend singing and playing the piano, and me doing the rest of the instruments. Tell me what you think.
