There is only one way to eliminate hat bleed in snare. That is to mic them in separate rooms. If that creates more problems then it solves, the other option is to learn to live with the bleed. IMO, mic bleed is often what makes it easy to glue channels together in a mix.

M-audio is the best "cheap" product manufacturer IMO.

If you experience the Behringer as warm and fullsounding, stop putting money into preamps and start saving up for new monitors.

I don't know, you tell me... personally I've never tried that. Through the midi out, you could trigger any drumsound in the world with a sampler, be it hardware or software.
