Noobie Question: Headphone Sound Verse Monitor/Speaker Sound
I recorded a song on my computer and then used Guitar Rig to play with some effects. I did this editing while listening to headphones and I liked the sound a lot, but then after editing I switched to speakers and decided that I hated the sound! Thanks guys. I read a few more posts and found this helpful link: 10 Great Tuts About Recording Electric Guitar which showed that most people (it looks like) still prefer to mic the amp rather than record directly. As a novice this seems counterintuitive and somewhat comical. I would think...- oneguy
