nope, I only get the Vaio and intel screen - then blank. no Windows
both my HD's and my dvd/cd rom are showing up in the BAIOS
so It's recognizing both my HD's - could they still be dead?
I don't usually mess around with settings - but where exactly would i go to restore it to default?
I tried starting it up as the "last known setting that worked" and it still just goes black.
The only thing I can think of doing differently was leaving my USb keyboard and interface plugged in...
thanks for all the help guys!
I literally just bought a new hard drive =( really hope it dying isn't the case. Also don't want to lose all of my stuff.
I'm not to god at understanding what's in the BAIOS - but i do see both my drives in there. The small 30gig one set as "Master' and my 150...
hehe - well I'm not trying to reformat - or delete my C drive =0. Was just saying all that stuff as this is the "cave" and realized this post might not be taken seriously.
But thanks for the help KOP =0 I owe ya one.
I guess I'll just have to be patient on this one - I have some friends who...
Lol, I have real bad luck with fixing things... Tried to unclog a glass pipe with a small pair of scissors no realizing that scissors are wedged shaped...
When I broke my arm when I was about 13, the cast smelled terrible - so i dumped lots of rubbing alcohol down it thinking it would just...
ack, well - I just moved 3 months ago, and fixed my PC one month prior to that... Didn't think I would need it anymore, and I think i tossed it. I knew it was a very useful tool (helped me fix my PC during my last turnover) but I might still have it. i'm very forgetful/drunk all the time.

well, I didn't realize anythin goes - but the I don't have that much stuff recorded.
There's no way I've had another HD die. I literally just bought a new one (hence the reformat) one of them survived half way - and I was able to get at least half of my shemale porn onto it.
I've been running...
so... Didn't know where else to post this - but I really need help.
My PC will not start up - It goes to the VAIO screen (I have a sony vaio) and then to "intel inside" kinda thing - then the black screen with a little typing line blinking
then completly black.
Trying to start in safe mode...
wow, nice post KOP.
I can't really give any valid advice on recording-
But I must ask - why do you "almost always" use the bridge pickup? Have you tried playing with the other ones?
I have to say I really like to use the ones closer to the neck for a lot of my solos.
and ofcourse I'm kidding about "trying anymore".
But I really do take it much more to heart when someone else who plays and makes music compliments me -
Does that random dude out there just strumming a few chords and saying stupidly random words strung into sentences that has ditsy girls...
You really wouldn't rather hear it from another musician?
I've heard people tell me my music is great all the time, only a few of them being musicians.
I haven't posted any music on here yet - but I can tell you that if I get some positive words on here - Especially from Greg, I wouldn't even...
Well, I'm trying to clean up my playing and make sure that I come in exactly at the seventh bar (simple bass line)
So, It seems I've come in a little bit early - and decide I can just snap to grid (or even without) and just snip away the tiny bit that was early.
When I cut it though, it...
hehe thanks guys -
super chunks might be a little too pricy for me (I'm no good with math, don't even remember how to find the area of a triangle) but it seems like it would take a lot of that fiber glass stuff for even 2 corners.
sorry to revive this thread - but can anyone vouch for recordmans DIY 7$ bass trap treatment?
I'm always looking to save money - but I don't want to go cheap on it (which for 7 dollars, I have to say that is really cheap)
would there be any advantage to this as opposed to this?

Ofcourse, besides space issue - which in my case isn't a problem.
So, I've had "Home Recording for dummies" for a while now, and got some good info on midi drums from there.
I have some friends that do it in different ways,
But I'm wondering how all of you do it? Actually creating the beats I should say.
I've found I like the drum editor in cubase, (as well...
