    New pop punk song

Well, there are many guitars, probably close to 10. Do you have one in mind you want to see? And no, the Auto-Tune artifacts aren't intentional, but I really had a hard time with the guy who pitch corrected my vocals, until the point where I just said what the hell, this will be it. Oh and I...

    Modern R&B/HipHop Song- Flex

I didn't say it was lacking lows. I said it seemed to be lacking a bit of treble. I would lower that bass a bit.

    New pop punk song

Thanks for the comment. I removed some of the 400ish frequencies in a couple guitars, and added more reverb to the vocals. I updated the Bandcamp version.

    New pop punk song

Ok guys, this is a song I've literally been working on for a year. I'm about to release it, and I'd like some feedback on the mix. Bandcamp streaming is 128 kbps, but you can download it for free in lossless format. You guys are actually the first to hear it. Thank you! Close The Door (demo)...

    Haven't recorded in a while

Makes sense, since it would be compressed to MP3 once instead of twice.

    The Ice Beneath Gave Way

I say if this was properly mixed, it would have potential.

    Im Electric, original

I agree for the drums. I would say the same thing about the rhythm guitars. They should sound agressive, right now they're more like background guitars... I would raise their levels by quite a lot.

    Modern R&B/HipHop Song- Flex

It sounds a bit muffled to me. Like it's missing some high treble. Did you low-pass or shelf it? Volumes sound balanced. Maybe the lead vocals are a *tad* too loud.

    Moment - alternative rock

Nah, not the reverb lol. I also agree that the hi-hat is too far from the center.

Original pop punk song (need mix feedback)

Yeah, I agree for the bass. I always have a hard time getting the bass to sound clear without drowning the rest of the song. The attack was very low on the compressor, so I raised it up. Also worked on the EQ some more. Would be interested to know what you think of it now. (I updated the link)...

To me, the bass is a bit overpowering. It drowns out the guitar. I'd like to hear the snare cut through a bit more too.

    Moment - alternative rock

I enjoyed this song. For a reason it kinda reminds me of the 80's. Like others have said, nice vocals. I like the chorus. Mix sounds good too.

    Fiddlin' Around (Dierks Bentley cover)

To me, the vocals are too loud.

    New EP - Fore

So, my personal opinion listening on a decently good system and a treated room: Go: snare could come up more. Sub bass might be a bid loud, I'd need to hear it in the car to find out though. Going: crisp sound, a tad too bright maybe. Bass sounds distorted, I don't know if that's what you were...

un - Built To Break (feat. Passive Elephants) | Electronica | we will return feedback

I only listened to the first track. Mix sounds crisp. I would've put more (or louder) reverb on vocals and drums.

Psychedelic Reggae Rock - "Colors" by Who We Are

I would remove some low-end from that snare.

    All Alone

Well, your sounds sound quite amateur. I don't know if it's your samples or the mix, or both. Your snare and kick have no power. Try layering multiple samples, for example: 2-3 snares. I too got an "arcade room" vibe from it. Is your bass panned dead center? If not, do it.

Original pop punk song (need mix feedback)

Would really appreciate new feedback now. To me, it sounds a bit too bassy right now.

Got writers block on a beat I'm working on, any suggestions for improvement?

What really helps me to monitor the lowest frequencies in my mixes is the sub in my car. I have a decent sound system in the car, nothing too crazy but all aftermarket. To me it helps more than the JBL sub I got in my studio.

It is not "slightly" too loud, I'm in a treated room with a sub, and even at low volume it is rattling.
