Wanna have some fun at our exes' expense?

Five verses already - who needs you guys??? Me and Frannie was drunk, sure and I was still green, We rolled on the grass, she was done, I withdrew, Then in daylight I saw her, a hideous scene, Mourned my stained knees, lost innocence, broken fly too! It's like a whole song already. But if...

Wanna have some fun at our exes' expense?

On a roll... but running out of exes Crazy-eyed Nancy, more stalker than belle, She learned at my knee of the world, of the flesh, Years later, I met her, amidst a dry spell, She teased, then she cackled — a bitter, sour wench! (Sorry about flesh/wench - it was more colorful than world/girl)

Wanna have some fun at our exes' expense?

Anyone else??? Prudenza was eager, a fiery Italian, In my wagon we trysted, her panties enpursed, Next day, told her girlfriends that I was no stallion more schnauzer than steed, and more pickle than wurst! I dunno what she actually told her girlfriends, but I KNOW what the issue was.

Wanna have some fun at our exes' expense?

Round Cheryl was randy, an eager dark lass, with an eye for rough pleasure, and forbidden whim, She, the night that we parted, pledged love to the last, But next evening was seen in the arms of young Tim*. * - (our light man) Still true stories (Mindy didn't SAY she was looking for a "tall...

    Oktava MC-012-01 Question

If you'll be there, I'll bring mine (SoundRoom) and my AudioBuddy over tomorrow night after practice, we'll do some trouble shooting. Mean time talk to GC, make sure you got their policy straight. Daf (MC-012 hypers, but we can swap around while we're checking em out)

Wanna have some fun at our exes' expense?

Chorus: Sing ho!, for the hoor and take comfort, poor john, Soon her looks and her money and pimp will be gone. Verse: Sweet Mindy had hair of a fine flaxen hue, And she'd laugh as I kissed her pink orbs in a kneel, But then one day she spurned me, "I couldn't love you, For I must find a man...

    Can we learn from this?

http://www.likesbooks.com/coverballot/2002/WO-results-2002.html They're not CD covers, but what they seem to say to readers about their content is potentially a strong parallel to what we do with our own packaging. Fun reading anyhow. Kinda like the "dark and stormy night" awards... Daf

which software supports the most tracks?

Cubase will handle more tracks - though I usually stick to 16. It will usually do more (PC is 833 mhz P3, 512mb ram) - but not always. Not sure software limit on tracks - 64? 48? More than I need anyhow. Daf

    Problems with pops and clicks

You also need to shut down as many competing processes as possible when using Cubase. It doesn't share resources well. Version 5.1, anyhow - no experience with SX yet. Make especially sure to shut down anything else that uses audio - lotsa nasty crackles otherwise!!! Daf

    Beautiful Still revisited

Okay, more props to the reviewers: Ratso - Thanks man. I love you and want to have your baby. Tom - Thank you sir. You might be right - only so much payoff in tweaking a demo. I'm toying with a concept album about getting old, though - this would be one of the centerpieces. So feel...

    Dafduc & The Idiot Collide

I'm gonna let Dougie field the comments, but re: piano stuff--- Used a Kurz SP-88, tack piano patch. Accomp and solo on separate tracks, but with same settings (each needed about 5 takes). What's a Floyd Cramer solo doing in a vaudeville tune? I dunno, it's just what came out...:D Daf

Nice feel on the drums and bass, Dougly. Kazoo was a great touch. I liked the vocs, but it would be fun if you did the Jolson / Rudy Vallee schtick. Kazoo might be better as a response too, like two beats behind the vocal. I would have liked to have heard the bass working with the same...

    Vocals to midi?

I believe Melodyne Celemony will do this. They have a free demo somewhere on the web. There used to be a relatively cheap ($250ish new) hardware module that would do this - I remember seeing it in places like the Penney's catalog. Probably 12-15 years ago. Don't know how well it tracked... Daf
