Good to hear your results. Thanks. On Samplitude. In my experience (over many many years from Samp 9 onwards), Samplitude installs newer versions beside, not on top of older versions.

Interested to hear how you think it is after your tests. I too am looking for cheap "bouncible" mic.

Not so far as I remember. You need at least one of the four tracks available to record onto. To achieve more than 4 track recording you need to "bounce" 2 or three tracks onto the fourth, then playback the bounce and record onto one of the newly available tracks.

Go to the VST 3 plug ins folder and move the gullfoss DLL to the desktop. Then try Cubase. If Cubase now gets past scanning the VST 3s , you havr the culprit and can still make use of the Gullfoss VST2. Just a thought. VST 3 s usually stored in Commons Fiules inside Program Files (I think)
