you really only need a mixer if you're planning on doing large studio work (like i am). Otherwise, keep it as simple as possible. try something like this:

i had a 3630 for about a year and it worked fine. i got rid of it because it was pointless to be using an outboard compressor for recording when i could use a vst plugin that does the same thing that also allowed me to modify the settings.

i love it. i abslolutely love it. nice job. the only thing that might do is cut back a bit on the lower frequences in the bass (prolly below 75hz). other than that, it sounds really good. (im talking about the udated mix btw)
