There's an error message on 9.0.3 which states that "you can't use pro tools with this version of macOS". Upon updating to 9.0.3 the installation crashed at the end. EDIT: AVID now has a public beta of 9.0.5 that is compatible with Lion. It's a start in the right direction.

Mastering an audio recording is basically preparing it for commercial use whether it be in retail or on the radio. You could do it yourself and there are plugins that do it for ya but it's best to leave it to the pro's who have the right equipment and the ears to go with it.

Why use autotune when you can use V-Vocal? It's already built-into SONAR. I'm not an expert on it but I do know it does have some form of pitch correction.

The MOTU HD192 is 12x12. However, it's only AD/DA and thus requires outboard preamps. But it does do 192khz audio if thats your cup of tea.
