Yes and no. The good is that you will have all 14 channels available on the mixer, but you have to make darn sure that your mix on that mixer is right, because you won't be able to change that mix on the Profire. All you'll have is one stereo track recorded for the whole mixer.

+1 These are the pups that came stock in my Schecter. I can play any style I want to with them.

I have that Schecter in the Burgundy-ish color (Antique Amber is the official name), and it really doesn't look as offensive as the pics make it out to be. The Zoot Suits though....I don't see how those could ever even come close to looking acceptable.

Just bought a firebox myself, and it came with a Lite version of EZDrummer. That should do basic drum stuff for you.
