Yes and no. The good is that you will have all 14 channels available on the mixer, but you have to make darn sure that your mix on that mixer is right, because you won't be able to change that mix on the Profire. All you'll have is one stereo track recorded for the whole mixer.
Zaza is my new Idol. And I found out that he owns a studio less than a mile from where I used to live!
Personally, as far as the debate goes for me, there's certainly places for both. Melody is important. Flair is important too. Depends on what the song (or even the specific part of the...
I have that Schecter in the Burgundy-ish color (Antique Amber is the official name), and it really doesn't look as offensive as the pics make it out to be.
The Zoot Suits though....I don't see how those could ever even come close to looking acceptable.
I'm good. Zach (new one) is also good. Raising 2 kids is a lot different than I thought it would be, but it's all worth it. Unfortunately, I'm still trying to find time to finish recording a backing track to another song to sing at church in a little over month. Work has been crazy, and...
I assumed it was your POD (not because it sounded fake, but it sounded very "Anthem"-ish :D).
That pickup combo is killer. It's what I have in my Schecter (C-1 Classic), and I love it. The only thing missing from that Guit is a true coil-split. I'll definitely have to look into finding a dot...

It's an Epi Dot Studio, isn't it? I just wonder if you're using your amp or your POD. Either way...sounds great.
Oh yeah, and is the Guit modded at all like your Les Paul? Or is it stock? Cuz if it's all stock, I've found my next purchase.
When I have money together, I planned on sending mine (that I retensioned myself today...surprisingly didn't tear the ribbon :D) to Michael Joly at oktavamod. He said he can do the same mod for these mics as the Nady mods listed on his site.
Personally, I prefer Dr. Pepper. Pepsi will do in a pinch, though. :D
Seriously, all I own are cheap Sonys, but they do the job for tracking. I think I'm gonna save up for the Beyerdynamic DT770's eventually.
I was wondering the same thing. I bought one from the same person, and I'm sure when it gets here I'll probably tear the ribbon trying to fix the sag myself.
Good news...
And bad news....
The problem isn't the firebox. On a whim, I stole my wife's new(er) laptop today and installed the drivers. Firebox works like a charm. It would appear that my Franken-puter has some sort of conflict somewhere. I don't know what it could be, because I've used...
Aside from all of the faders on mine being all the way up, it looks identical. When the "Mix to Phones" button is down, I hear everything that's going in, but when any other output for the phones is selected, silence.
