I was planning on buying all of my equipment from musician's friend. Are there any extra costs in addition to the items? Like shipping and tax and stuff? Answers are greatly appreciated, thanks.
" Chest voice is the tone of speaking voice. The deeper, fuller sound. Belting is when one brings the chest register into higher notes where they would naturally change to head voice. That is the technique that pretty much all pop stars use most of the time. Here are some examples of chest...
Singing Tips 19: The Chest Voice - YouTube
It's either you or this guy that has the misconception of a chest voice. But judging from his history, I think it's most likely you. I quote from him, "the chest voice is used to make sounds richer in the lower range". and also, it's just not humanly...
I find that having vocals while singing along doesn't help. you can listen to it for reference, but you really shouldn't sing WITH it. It makes you either sound much better or much worse than you actually are. Basically, it's like using the singer as the medium and yourself as a cover-up
Relearn? Actually, in the last few days, I've been struggling. But then I read your post, and thought "maybe I should change my technique again" (Cause I do that twice a year or so) And that really helped :3 It's not as flexible for some reason, but it's almost back! Thanks!!!!!!! also, I found...
I like your voice :O Maybe have background music LOL Don't go around auditioning just yet though. I think some technique-work on your part can get you in any audition though.
CC: I think you need more support. But that could just be my earplugs.
As Track Rat says, "you can't sing" - I agree with that, but that's only for now. You have a nice voice, and NO ONE starts out singing with full support and strength. You just need practice.
mm.... It never really breaks and I don't think it got harder :/ It's more like having trouble pushing the sound to where it should be coming from :/ And yes, I sing songs at the same pitch at around 2nd E to 3rd C Range... And actually, I've never been able to go low before... but it feels more...
EDIT: It feels like my voice is resonating somewhere else than it used to.... It feels like it's ringing near the middle of my throat, and after a few hours after singing, the feeling's gone. It just feels like there's a lot of strain in my throat when I first start singing, and it disappears...
Thanks for the response guys :D um, I used to have a vocal coach I until I decided she didn't really do anything except assign work. And about the voice changing thing, I'm not so sure because the tone of my voice isn't getting any lower, but it does feel like my air's going through a lot longer...
Oh yes, that's a good point. Um my tonsils were extremely swollen, but they're calming down now, or so they say. They gave me a puffer. Thanks for the quick reply though!
I am 15, and up until this spring, I could belt any note all the way to 3rd E (Tenor). I can still go as high, but I'm losing the full sound of it and I can't belt the mid-ranged notes as well anymore. I do this every year, but this year it feels kind of different. It feels like I'm straining my...
WOW! That's a LOT of experience you have! Actually, you have more experience with music than I have been alive for :3 The mic the appeals to me is 4060 because it looks cooler, and aesthetics matter a lot to me... That Zoom R24 looks really cool, and from this, I narrowed it down to the M-Audio...
