Frankly, I don't know if I would ever need 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9, or not.
I have about 3/4 decided to buy Cubase SE3, but I don't get my gear until Xmas. Would Audacity keep up with SE3?
""If you cheat someone, you will pay the price.""
I believe it's the other way 'round: if you cheat someone, THEY pay the price.
That's why people cheat. If it wasn't, they wouldn't.
I've read a few software reviews of sequencers, and a couple of times I've seen words to the effect a piece of software is pretty darn good, but lacks "advanced features" of a top-of-the-line Cubase or PR or Sonar.
OK, what are the most "advanced features?"
Thank you.
Does one or the other have available better orchestral plug-ins and such? I want to
decorate jazz-blues [and other] songs with strings and some of the softer horns, ie. oboe, French horn, etc..
I will test drive both.
In my neck of the woods, SONAR HOME STUDIO 4 XL and CUBASE SE 3 are the same price. Are they at the same level of features, so to speak?
Thanks again.
Dear Reaper Developer:
'm just getting started on the DAW thing, doing homework and compiling a
shopping list for Christmas. Reaper is getting a fair bit of attention, so
I went over to have a look. There is lots of interesting stuff, including speculation about Reaper being ready for the...
That's very interesting. If they are THAT close, then Sonar has the edge on price, eh?
So PT has better plug-ins. Are Sonar and Cubase catching up on that score?
