I just wrote a thread about the Gretsch junior bass which i really liked. It was better than any other bass i tried at guitar center, and Im sure its way better than any squier. p.s. hows your set up working for you? pretty soon im gonna get a powerbook and would like to record stuff on it...

i agree about the vox except i have the 50 watt one. I talked the guy down at guitar center to 300. You can also adjust how many watts you want to use in the back without sacrificing tone which is really good for praciticing at home with about 20 watts then going on stage at full blown 50...
