The floor is carpeted. I'm not sure on the walls because when my parents bought the house, the basement was already finished.

My main problem is that my Live Room is only a small 11ftx12ft rectangle. It's in a finished basement so I have no problem with concrete. I am deciding on putting up some foam to absorb high frequencies. I will also put bass traps all around the room. The ceiling is only about 7-8 feet tall...

I'm deciding between the Beta52 and the ATM25. Any suggestions/experiences with both? Soundclips would help too. I'm looking for more a punchy but deep sound.

also what did you use for the toms? Overheads?

Can people PLEASSEEEE post Drum mics sounds? I don't care what or which. I just need examples for new drum mics since my drummer (who owned the D112 and the Beta56 left) It would be great. Thanks.

The room is small. No I did not use any EQ at all. THe snare mic wasn't on the bottom...it was on the top. Thanks guys.
