try shutting your monitor off when your record, especially with single coils. that removed a lot of bad noise for me.

i've read in many places that SX 3.0 is a drain on CPU usage, including people with G5's. anyone here experiencing anything of that nature? im thinking of getting this for my G5, and i use lots of vst;s and plugins so this is somewhat of a concern for me.
