hey man, welcome to the forum! it def sounds like you are exporting a mp3 file size too low. I ran into the same problem back in the day. +1 for Wav, or Aiff, but try and bring the file size up. Also, are you bouncing in at least 44.1 khz/ 24-bit? Try a couple different bounces and throw them...

I sell the h4n's, i own the h4, the old version. shit rules, the mics are amazing on it, it sounds great, i highly recommend it.

all these are great points, the heavier the string, the smaller the oscillation pattern and the less likely you are going to get string buzz, enabling you to lower your action even further. I use 11's on my Electrics (especially my strat, to help compensate for the thin-sounding single-coils)...

X2 on everything mentioned above, It's much easier to track everything by plugging directly in/micing an amp/what have you, and using your software mixer (mixer in protools) and mix your song there. Tyler

no, not really usually a lower bit rate constitutes a muddy, "under water" sound. Sample rate will effect the quality of your recording, but in a subtle way, it takes extremely trained ears to hear the difference between 44.1 and 48 khz. its sounding alright...your flow is way off though, practice the lyrics more...and your lyric structure is choppy and rhyme structure is is predictable. The beat is alright, just the lyrics probably need to be re-written.
