It sounds a lot like Japanese pop. But it's missing that really crisp, driving beat that defines the genre. And the vocals aren't very pleasing. They have kind of a lo-fi wash over them that's just unappealing. So, try to make the tune a bit more punchy and bright and fix up those vocals...

It seems like there's a bit too much compression when it comes to the kick and the bass. I can hear them clipping and it's a bit distracting and it kind of buries the vocals a bit. And the highs are a little bit too much on the cymbals/hi-hats/overheads. Otherwise, the song fits together...
