man..... I think that a limited budget and a small mic cabinet is the least of your problems. You should start with some serious analysis. :) I listened twice and can honestly say...."I don't get it"

I've got the ADK. I like that mic personally. Has its own tonal quality.

I agree with Erich. They are all very similar. I'm guessing #2 was the ADK. And as mentioned..... you could sound good singing through coffee cans. I'd choose #2 or #4

I think a 19 dollar guitar tuner would help large parts of it. I'm not sure what helps the BGV's. But the rhythm locked into a pretty good groove toward the end.

Thanks everybody for the comments and ideas. The guitar is a martin d-41 that I had cut low end on. I just remixed some of the low end back in it. It did help. Re-mastering the drums helped too. I agree that it needs some BGV's. But not mine :) Unless you want to hear Bob Dylan...

Yamaha MSP-10's. But when I listen to someone's song.... I almost always listen on my home stereo that I play store bought CD's on. (Unless I'm at work)

I'm primarily a guitarist.... and my songs have a very wide variety of guitar tones. I think when you start talking about guitar tone you have to talk about preamps and processors. The type of guitar impacts the tone hugely.... but even some lousy guitars can sound really good through the...

Most of you will be glad to know I'm not singing on this one. I wrote and played all of the music... then gave a cd to a lady singer I know who wrote the lyrics and sang it. It's an original contemporary Christian song. (at least it doesn't sound like Bob Dylan) Any suggestions, comments...
