Hi, GM (assuming General Midi) is cool! Especially, if played back on stretched cassette tape, if you know what I mean :D. On the software side the only one that comes to mind is Apple's DLSMusicDevice. :D That's GM right? At least the piano is sounding like a decent, trustworthy "stereo piano"...

Hi, Evolution UC-33 is really good and reliable. Has usb power / midi in / midi out, 24 knobs and 9 faders and buttons, which you can assign to control a parameter in your plugin synth. Best regards, PK

Hi I'm also interested in this. I run strings through an old korg ag-10, where some sounds are really cool but I need to expand... Does the GPO come as an audio unit/vst? Does it need a lot of processing power? expensive? :D Best regards, PK
