    CAD VSM1, Blueberry, TLM193, TLM103?

Thanks R.E., The 193 is what I've been leaning towards, but I must admit the Blueberry and VSM1 have gotten my attention. I've pretty much eliminated the 103 since I think the wide presence peak would be a little harsh on saxophones. Have you ever used the CAD or B.L.U.E.? Thanks again.

What's the Best Mic for Saxophones?

Thanks sonusman, I've had other people recommend that one too. I've seen a number of people use it live (especially for bari sax 'cuz of the no D). Do you have an opinion on a TLM193, Blueberry, or CAD VSM1? Thanks.

    KSM32 or AT4050

Actually, the NT2 has cardioid and omni positions and sound great. I used it as the all purpose mic for the "Clyde's Ride" CD. Works great on vocals and horns.

    Which Mic Pre?!

The Presonus MP-20 is amazingly transparent. I think all their gear is super and clean. If you're looking for a tube sound, though, they wouldn't be the one.
