    Ok, I would do roughly this: The bass dead in the middle (Always I think) The keyboard I would expand far out to both sides. And keep at low volume. Is the drums on one track? If so they should go in the middle, at least if they use kick and snare. Otherwise I like to pan hi hats and suchlike...

    I use acid and would recommend it. Get yourself a good library of wav-files with samples. For example pick up this months issue of "Modern recording" where there is a CD with alot of good drum samples. I wouldnt recommend streching or pitching in acid though because it often make the sound...

    Dithering

    So Sonusman... Just to clear things up so a child (or I) could get it. If I record in 16/44.1 (witch I have to sadly) then I would still have to dither in the mastering process because all processing I have done in the mix would increase bit deapth?

    Harp thoughts Crazy ass song, I liked it. The singing style wasnt my type but that´s not important. I like that "dirty" retro harp sound you have but I have a tip. If you have or can get your hands on a stereo mic then a harp can sound wery intresting since you can get the notes to "walk"...
