I tried the Ozone demo. I could just not get it to do something good with it. It look like space mission control and made everything sound terrible. Should have read that manual I guess. Not that any of us sitting fiddling with computers can do any real mastering since we aren´t mastering...

Have you searched particularly for wav. files? They are most often better bit-wise. I know I have stumbled on a few sites in the past that are good for this type of need. Keep looking.

In my opinion it feels a little unbalanced with the drums panned to the right like that, especially in the beginning of the track. Otherwise it was very 80`s sounding in a cool way. I almost missed a cowbell on every beat! (joke)

I agree with Tex. This is of course a good alternative. Fix it at the performance. As far as EQ goes I mean when the breathing is harsh and disturbing (as I seldom think it is) you can EQ carefully, trying too avoid messing up the sound too much. (around everything from 7K to 10K depending on...
