yes, take the guard off ( Mine doesn't have one) and make sure the tubes are connected tightly into the socket. Take a look at them and make sure they are all burning brightly too.

I have a classic 30 and I had a similar problem with a loose tube one time. Re-seat the tubes while the amp is off/cool and see if that makes any difference. Have you moved the amp recently before it had a chance to cool all the way down? Could be a bad tube.

Yeah, mixing low end on the VF is almost impossible. I'd like to know who the genius was that set the low end in stone at 400Hz.

Thanks Gidge. I found it after taking a look at Pipelines profile. He showed me what the problem was within the first 60 seconds of chat! I had somehow switched into wave out mode instead of ASIO mode. I'm back in ASIO mode now and it's working like a charm. Thanks Pipeline!

If it'll help at all, I'm running windows xp and I'm using a delta 24/96 soundcard. I just defragged the hard drive and that didnt help any. I'm using my main C drive for my audio files.

Man, this is top notch all the way around. Love the guitars.... Kick ass drum sound and the vocals are very good. Nice layering. The bass is sitting just about perfect on my monitors at a fairly loud volume.

Sounds like the kick is compressed a little too much in the first mix.

Oh shit.... I am having problems with Reaper now. All my tracks are out of sync during overdubs and playback. I havent changed anything on my computer...scratching my head.:confused:
