My "The Paul" was made in 1973 and it played great ( still does, my brother has it), but the new Gibson "budget" guitars are made very poorly.

No, I mean free loops in wav format. I've found a lot of them through google. I know all about Fruity Loops. I've used them before. I just thoguht some of you guys would have inside info on some better loops than what I've found. Thanks for trying. :D

I've been playing with my old J Station tonight. I used to tweak the thing blindly until I got a midi sound card. The J Edit software is awesome. Makes tweaking knobs effortless with a few clicks of the mouse. There are a few of them for sale on e-bay right now...

Sweet! I played a "The Paul" identical to yours for years. It was a 73' model. Great guitar. I sold it to my older brother a few years ago.

Oh, I love it. The quality of some of these guitars are far superior than the big boys. I just unloaded a les paul special for a Greg Bennett Avion4. The Avion is 10 times the guitar the LP Special was.

I did some haggling at the local music store and traded my Les Paul Special even for this beauty. Plays better than any guitar I've ever owned and the tone is awesome.
