MessianiacDreams Yes I just imported them with no change. I later deleted the files in the original folder and that's when PT couldn't find them any more. PT quit looking when I cleared the regions file and saved again. Will do the regions check and check to see if there is an option to copy...

Bingo...you got it! I'm not up on what all the modes do but I'm moving right along. I just jumped in and started recording tracks and I keep going till I hit a snag. Even though the reference guide is well organized it's sometimes difficult to know just where to look for the answer. Thanks

I'm new to PT but learning more all the time. :) How do I trim from the front of a track and keep the remaining region in it's original postition? Every time I try to trim or cut the front end of a track or region it jumps to 0. Thanks, Rusty K

Are you able to monitor at all from the mbox? Is it the only soundcard on your computer? Probably it would help to have more info on how you are coming out of the mbox to monitors or is it just headphones? It could be a defective product but there is other troubleshooting to do first. Check...
