Wow, this poll was posted 4 years ago... I just got the audix d6 and I must say it great!!! Put it in the kik, did a take, listened back, pulled it out a bit, another take, listened back and grinned... But I honestly haven't tried the others (beta52, d112, etc) but I'm really pleased with my buy.

Believe it or not, my 2 cheapest (in what I paid, not what they are valued at) guitars are a 1975 Fender jazz (paid $300) and a mint condition Rick 4003 (paid $350)... and they play & sound MUCH better than my my more "expensive" washburn ..... :D :D :D
