Okay. Thanks for responding. I'm pretty confident I understand the concept you laid out. So if I wanted to record audio with my synths presets, I should use the 1/4" option rather than midi, ya? Pleaseandthankyou I am having difficulty getting AbletonL9 to recognize my microKorg XL. It is connected via midi to a ProFire 610. Running OSX 10.7. Are more details needed? Feeling defeated.
