I agree with that. I sold my 5150 early last year. It's got high gain for days, just didn't like the so called clean channel. Just my 2cents worth though..

Not hearing much difference so far..maybe a little warmer. The V1 is the 1st Gain Stage for both channels, more noticeable on the clean I would think.

I'll second the Pubster! If it's anything like my rivera Quiana, the tone is killer. Gibson has a couple low watt amps i've been hearing good things about also. :D ...once had a silvertone 1/2 stack. With my big muff it sounded kinda ok :p
