Nice score. I used to have one of those and it sounded great for what it was. Can't beat that price either.

    Low Cost amplifier for distortion.

The "Egnater Rebel" amps sounds like a pretty good amp on the cheap, check it out. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Egnater-Rebel-20-20W-Tube-Guitar-Amp-Head?sku=483496&src=3WFRWXX&ZYXSEM=0&CAWELAID=228230866 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9wJC1HygzI&feature=channel

Modeling vs. Real Tube for live vs. recording

I bought an "axe fx" a while back and am still in the honeymoon phase with this thing. I love my tube amps but haven't felt the need to turn them on latley. The price tag is a little high, but this thing is catching on. http://www.fractalaudio.com/...

    Fender SCXD tube swaps, anyone?

Are you using the stock speaker in that amp?

    Axe-Fx

And it does feel like a real amp, to me. I just bought one a couple weeks ago (used standard) it's quite a steep learning curve for me, but I'm having a blast with it so far. I'm going to do some recording with it this weekend so I'll put up some clips when I get something recorded.

    Really? Why is that?

    Fender MusicMaster II

The earlier musicmaster's were short scale. Around 64/65 they came out with the mustang, duo-sonic II-musicmaster II with the 24'' scale........I think?:D something like that.
  17. David

    Fender MusicMaster II

This musicmaster II has a full 24" scale with B neck (1 5/8" nut width). So it plays pretty nice. Also, I bought it for my grandson so it'll be just right for him for many yrs to come; i hope.:D
