Nice rockin guitar. I'm not much of a mix expert. It just sounds good to me. Lead guitar sounds real good. I'd be interested to know the signal chain.
I like it.
Hmmm?? I don't know that much about mp3's.... but the software says it created it at 11028 sample rate, and 320 bit.
Does that make sense? Streams on my machine from Nowhere okay.
Sorry you can't hear it. My mp3 software has a lot of options. If there are better sample rates or bit...
Good cover of a classic song. Really good vocals.
Nice sounding acoustic guitar.
Thought the drums were gonna kick in at the fist chorus.
I like it real well.
Re: Zappa AND Beefheart!
I also agree with the Zapa comment. I can't believe you got a keyboard to do all of that. Incredible.
Nice groove, and good sound. Really good job!
Lyrics were a riot.
Covered this Johnny Cash Song this afternoon. Daddy Sang Bass.
It features a VERY rare appearance by Mrs. Kjam22.
Had fun doing this one. May the circle be unbroken :)

Hope some of you guys enjoy it.
It is a sad thing when those we grew up listening to pass on. Johnny will be missed by many including me. Sunday Morning Comin Down... I recorded that in 1986 on 4 track just for fun. I've posted it at http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=2124&alid=-1 for tribute. It's not a...
I like the song. Super vocals and lyrics. I'm not much of a judge on mixes. It just sounds really good to me.
I'd like to hear a different ride cymbal when it goes to the chorus. This sounds like an open highhat? Song has a really nice groove. Good lead guitar player could really...
I liked the snare. I thought it sounded big. Real fat sound. Nice groove...... but it does need a bridge or something now and then. Also could lay some killer screamer lead instrumental in there somewhere.
Really good sound though.
Also thought your vocals were a bit dry. Need some...
Ghost and Powderfinger..... thanks for the compliments. I think I agree with you on the reverb. Just worked it with less and it is better.
Piltdown..... thanks for the mix compliments. Sorry about the organ. I like that old B-3 sound :)
Appreciate it guys.
Here's one that I worked on Saturday. Re-tracked a couple of guitars.... Added a new one at the end.. and remixed the whole thing. I mixed on this all day Saturday and I don't know... that's just not my talent.
Anyway.... ideas, suggestions, and complaints are welcome. Song is called...
A POD is not the effects unit I'd choose as a front end on my amp. I guess if you're already used to the thing, and comfortable with its settings then you can mostly eliminate the learning curve associated with a different (was tempted really bad to say better) processor.
Great guitar. Great vocals. Super groove that was enjoyable to listen to. Really good job.
Hey Al.... I listened to "What Would Jesus Do" also. Liked that one a lot too. If you put a flute on that you've nailed that Marshall Tucker sound. :)
Well.... I got the rackmount one in the mail the other day. I got the Antares ATR1A, not the unit with all the mic simulations.
Here's my findings. Blue Bear is right in the fact that if the singer is more than about 30 cents off.... the thing is not useable. (That means 1/3 of one half...
Enjoyed Felix. I've heard several of yours. You were made to sing the blues. I mean if anybody ever found the right style for themselves... it is you. You got the sound dead on and I really liked it.
Awesome Sluice. It sound great on my speakers. (Klipsch with a sub). Man.... I'd like to know how long you mixed on that.
Vocal reminded me now and then of Pink Floyd.
That is just a well done song however you look at it.
