Through some trial and error I think I've got things working ok! I've set the playback soundcard to "M-Audio Delta AP Multi" and now have playback! So that's that sorted. I also am able to record, although the sound level seems extraordinarily low...on the mixer I've got the main mix at 0db...

I'm using an Audiophile 2496...so the old driver may be the problem then? I did buy it a good while ago...anyways, I'm downloading the new driver now from the MAudio web site so hopefully that will fix the problem! And if not I will try the other suggestions. Another question if one of you guys...

Say I import a click track, then play guitar over that. It's not in line...there is a slight delay (i.e. the click sounds slightly before the first strum). The same happens with anything I try to record. Any idea how to fix this? Cheers

Check me out, two posts on the same day. Imagine hardware effects such as a compresser, reverb, noise gate etc. Does n-track actually order these on the list in the track? What I'm getting at is I would want a noise gate before the reverb, so the reverb isn't affected. Is this so in n-track...

Hi, All I can see is that you pan by dragging a line up or down (corresponding left or right) on whatever track you are panning. A numerical (ideally percentage) interface would be nice, so you can tell n-track to pan one track 50% right and another 50% left - for exact balance. I don't think...

Don't mind you doing that at all. I like it...the verse especially. Nice cymbals! I think the beat you play on the chorus slows it down a bit? If you know what I mean? But aside from that I'm impressed, brings the song to life a bit more. Thanks!

Oh, and one other thing...I'm terrible at playing drums, and have no imagination in constructing a decent sounding drum piece to accompany this song. So that's pretty much out of the question unfortunately.
