Do you HAVE to record drums first?

I like a song/track whatever to stand up as a solo performance so the most important bit for me is the rhythm instrument, In my rather small amount of time on planet earth I've never heard or seen a drumming singer doing solo work I've recorded 90% of my stuff with a click & it grooves great, I...

    Opinions on 1966 Bassman amps...

they are wicked, I want one but not a reissue because I'm a sucker for the real thing the problem is people liuke BB King & Eric Clapton probably have people scouring everywhere known to man for these amps the bassman head (69 in this case) produced evil tones at about 7 with a 76 strat using...

    Hit the damn things......

you don't say........& the difference between hitting them hard as opposed to barely touching the things is worthy of a title like hit the damn things & you're also stating the obvious to those that know how to hit them right. After 24 years I'd burn my sticks if I hadn't learned to hit them right

    Hit the damn things......

Yes hit them right, you're talking about drummers that physically put everything they've got into every hit which is to much & indeed chokes all the life out of the box. You get the drummer who puts everything into it & ends up with an inconsistant pile of almost un-mixable mess which is equally...

    Solved Hotel California (Acoustic) Percussion?

don't listen to him, he's leading you astray:D:D:D:D:D:D he had a pedal on his foot triggering a kick type sound in the Hell Freases Over DVD along with congas & (I think) some sort of percussive loop going on lightly in the background but yeah I'd say you need congas, bongos, some kind of...
