Looking for guitar mutli fx - NOT amp modelers

I just picked up a Magicstomp II at MF. They're blowing them out right now for $79(usually $199). There's a couple of amp models in there that sound pretty good but I bought it solely for the individual effects which are excellent.

    Guitars...cases or on the wall?

I've got a sizeable collection of vintage and new electrics and acoustics. About 11 years ago I ran out of floorspace for stands so I started hanging 'em on the wall. Temperature pretty stable here in Los Angeles(I don't use air conditioning)and there's enough ambient humidity here year round...

    Guitars...cases or on the wall?

Probably safer and better for them in the case but I have most of mine on the wall. I like looking at them, admiring them, and showing them off. To me they're like works of art. Also they're always right there, ready to be played. And you know the old saying "out of sight, out of mind"? That's...

Let's say I want to learn guitar

And nothing is more frustrating, after you learn how to play, than a guitar that won't stay in tune.

    Greenish Les Paul fretboard inlays

I don't know if it was a specific model or a specific year when Gibson employed that ghastly stuff. I kinda had to pass by it real quick, like it was Kryptonite or something. :D

    Greenish Les Paul fretboard inlays

I don't know what it is. Of course, it's a matter of taste, subjective, and obviously lots of people must like it, but I was immediately turned off. I literally winced.

    Greenish Les Paul fretboard inlays

I'm always hearing how ugly they are but never saw them for myself until today. I went to GC for some strings and they had a batch of used Les Pauls on diplay($3000!!!) and some of them had those greenish tinged fretboard inlays. Ass ugly! What were they thinking? Especially when paired up with...

    "Relic" mania cracks me up.

So I saw this guitar today online: :D Think about it. A one year-old guitar made to look like it has 46 years of wear and tear in "dead mint-collector owned-untouched condition"?

Acoustic guitar tuning and re stringing HELP please

Get rid of all the steel strings. Too much tension for a classical guitar. Get a set of nylons. Bring the guitar with you and have the guy pick the right set for that guitar.

Acoustic guitar tuning and re stringing HELP please

Just as I thought. It's a classical. You need nylon folk/classical strings for it. If it's set up right the nylon strings will still feel a bit looser than steel strings on a regular acoustic.

I hate to ask but is it a classical guitar and you put steel strings on it?
