Thanks although the snare is dead on center according to the Logic Pro pan control. So assuming that you’re monitoring is better than mine, it must be the overheads picking up some bleed. I’d prefer not to touch those as I’m quite happy with how those are balanced generally. Thanks again!

I like the wall of sound guitars but the drums are compressed a bit too heavily for my liking. Perhaps try rolling off a bit on that? That’s just my preference though! Look forward to hearing new mixes.

I also really like the production on these tracks. I didn’t listen all the way through on either but what I heard sounded clear and pristine. Great stuff and kudos also on the video production.

I've had a go at making the mix a little brighter; a bit less muddy I think. Is this any better? I think I have some kind of ear fatigue / need to invest in some better monitoring.. (I'm currently mixing on multiple sets of headphones -- yeah, I know; space is a limiting factor). Philandering...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm using EZ Drummer for the drum parts all going into logic pro as a stereo mix (rather than as individual tracks for each drum part). I'm additionally applying a little bus compression on the stereo drum mix. But no EQ or anything.

I listened to the first track and like the overall vibe and atmospherics. I really love the sound of the distorted 5th chords that come in around 2:20 (what setup did you use?). Sounds a little mushy though around the 02:38 mark when the quick (doubletime?) drums come in. Perhaps the guitars...
