Thanks, can't wait to finish the guitar solos, I'm trying to record them using amp sims (Guitar Rig 5) but I think I may mic up my amp instead.

Well how do I get the guitars to take up less space without pushing them down. If I lower them they become inaudable?

thanks Robus, I will probably do that. I recorded the solos before the vocals were added so I'll it admit it was pentatonic noodling. I'm gonna try and mic up my amp instead of using the amp sim also. Can't do that today though, for the meantime I lowered the bass, uped the vocals and tweaked...

Sorry forgot to mention its going to be faded out but I'm not gonna worry about that until I finalize the mix. Thanks for being honest about the acoustic solo, I had similar thoughts I'll do a few more takes see if I can get something better.

Just bought the 2i4

Everything I read has me leaning toward focusrite, I think thats gonna be my guy.

I'm not a rap expert but the first thing I noticed was the vocal jumping out pretty high. It definitely distracted me from the rest of the mix. I'm not sure if that is something stylistically preferred for this genre though.

This is pretty great. I think the acoustic guitar is at a good level its subtle but it adds a lot. Has a pretty professional sound overall if you ask me.

I think it works well as an instrumental. I second the comments about the drum sound going down when the first guitar comes in, try to bring the drums back to the front.
