The drums themselves are a midi file from ezdrummer so they shouldn't be off. It must be the arpeggiated guitar part. It so hard to play in time at 58 bpm. i guess its practice time. ---------- Update ---------- oh the organ is native instruments komplete 10 vintage organ.

Its an extreme metal song so its supposed to be very guitar and drum heavy. I'll take a look at improving the cymbals though. I hear the splahsyness. I may end up turning the guitars down as well. Did you compare it to the reference track I posted?

Robus, you asked what plugin I used on my master fader. I just use a maximizer. Otherwise if I push the master fader up my mix clips. The maximizer somehow allows louder volume without clipping.

This sounds radio ready.

It actually sounds pretty good. The weakest part is probably the drums, they are played well but they sit too far back in the mix. Maybe try using parallel compression on them. Or just bring up the volume. Great start!

The other guitar player has more of a style that you guys are talking about, I'll post it when we get his part recorded.

Thanks, did you check out "Lost Time"? These are all songs that will be on a 10 song album. I want to mix them as best as I can be before releasing that's why I'm posting them all here.

Oh and vocalist is my friend, not me. I did write the lyrics for this song though.

Thanks. The solos I post are not final but more of ideas I want to flesh out, I save them for last.

Thanks easlern, I think when the first solo is added the second solo will be easier to set to a good level.
