I asked my friend about this he is an engineer as well. On the actual track to the left the little window with the Record, Solo, and Mute buttons if you right click on your mouse click add track and then you can chooose for stereo for SX 2.2.

I did find if you go the window to left of the track rightclick on the mouse you can add a track....stereo is in there .
Right now i"m recording just my solo stuff which involves one acoustic guitar, and some vocals.
Im also using the xy right now. I wish I knew if it sounded correctly or proper.
so I thought maybe the single mic eliminate that thought
One more question I not to sure if you can just sequence drums in Cubase sx 2.2 can you?
or do you need a keyboard connected to midi? (might be a stupid question)
I see all these drum maps or things I have no idea what to do with them.

So as in the preference of stereo or mono.....when I save that track the dialog will pop up and ask me if I want to save it as mono or stereo??
I just want the mixdown or the tracks that will bounce into one track to be all stereo. Cuz it sounds better hahaha!~
Hi there everyone. I just started using Cubase SX2.2. I'm using the 24 audio track recorder. The first channel is stereo, and then the rest of them are mono. Now how can I change that to a stereo track?? So mono to stereo....like channel 2 is mono..I looked around the site couldnt really...

Recently it struck my fancy to get some great effects for the line 6 DL-4. I dont know if it's better to get single pedals, or a pretty decent effect processor unit? I dont think I will be using OVER using it for live performance. Like annoying loops 24/7 NO! I would think I would be using...

So I just got back from the store, and I ended up with a audiotechnica ATM41A.....I had plans buying the Beta58 from Shure.
I just told him that I was doing some acoustic performance stuff and he told me to save some money and go the AT.
